british beer festival

thank you melissa for looking up things to do. this was an excellent choice.
note: vodka before a beer fest is not a good idea
met a lot of fun people, tasted a lot of good beers and ciders.
four girls in a warehouse full of hundreds of men surrounded by good beer. that is the equation for a great night.
:)

paris

we took a bus to paris, left at 930pm, got on a ferry around 100am then more bus around 3am. finally made it to paris with two new friends joey and justin and a bunch of new laughs. we went out to breakfast right by arc de triomphe and then met up with sarah.

all i can say is that paris was amazing! thanks to sarah we had the best trip ever. the apartment we stayed in was blocks from arc de triomphe and walking distance to the eiffel tower. it was a beautiful place, in a great location and i owe sarah and her family a million thatnks. we couldnt have done it any better.

our first day was filled with every sight we could squeeze in (then my camera died, and i was very upset about it) and our night consisted of crepes, montmartre veiw (amazing), wine, the arches and the artists, more crepes, more wine, moulin rouge, 300+ roller bladers, and lastly first time seeing the eiffel tower at 1230am all lit up dancing around underneath it with melissa.

our second day was kind of rainy and cold by we made it to the top of the eiffel tower eventually, taking our time. then as it started getting warmer, we shopped! of course... you have to shop while in paris. then after some shopping there was more wine, and some cheese. the night was topped off with a romantic evening, melissa and i with wine and cheese picnicing under the lights of the eiffel tower. met some creepers but all in all a great evening.

now because my camera died i am going to have to wait until the other pictures are uploaded to show you the best parts of the trip like the eiffel tower and montmartre at night. in due time...in due time...for now here are what i capture right before we climbed the 400+ stairs to the top of notre dame to see where quasimoto lives:

life is good.

hooray life! ASCOT: a day at the races.

oh what a wonderful life i live.

so i wake up to ben so mad at me. bc i am a dumbass and over slept. i was supposed to be at his at 8am. and i woke up to him calling me at 8 am. oops. i get out of bed only realize im not in my bed. and i have no clue where whitney is or my room key. all the girls have left to do tourist things. so start to feel a bit overwhelmed and stressed out. after banging on my door, and about three other rooms, i finally go to the front desk and have a security gaurd unlock my door for me. i walk into my room all stressed out only to find whitney passed out on my bed with my key next to her. she was so out she didnt hear me BANGING on the door. so i wake her and tell her what is going on and how we are late. it takes a while for us to get our heads on straight. ben keeps calling and telling me i am a twat and that i need to take the train out immediately to ascot bc he had paid for these tickets and it was rude to let them go to waste. so whit and i realize how dumb we are being. shower, gets dressed up, to the best of our abilities, and head to the tube.

we decided we should buy wine and drink on the way to get in a better state of mind.
the tube is hot and miserable. we are sweating and hungover like hell. going back in forth in our minds we some how just kept trucking to the trains. we quickly realize we are idiots and bought a bottle of wine that wasnt twist off. and were disappointed with ourselves. but we made it to the train none the less. hopped on for with out paying (bc we are rebels). and sat down and road out to ascot.

it was by far the best decision we have ever made.

we walk about 5 minutes, following a crowd of men in suits and women in posh dresses and hats. for a minute we worry that we arent dressed up enough. but we decided not to stress about it bc we had made it there and that is what counted.

we meet up with ben at the gate and he gives us our tickets and passes for the credit club level.

AMAZING.

all i can really say is that we lived the life of luxury for the next few hours.
£70 bottles of pink champagne (6 of them).
suits and fabulous dresses everywhere.
amazing veiw of the horse races.
great weather!
we learned how to bet on horses.
bet on a horse named annapolis and broke even! (£10 bc we are such ballers)
ben won a good bit of money.
and to top off the gloriousness while waiting for the coach we got to chow down on a table of assorted cheeses and drink our wine finally. ha.
just had a lovely lovely day!
thank you ben for everything. and making us get off our hungover asses and come out to the most amazing day every.

we were exasperated...

i love long hope.

so im laying in bed next to whit, and we cant stop laughing about last night:

i wake up to ben calling me this morning, i had made plans to go to ascot for horseraces (whoops). i open my eyes and think im in china seeing all these flags around. after some serious thought i realized i was in max's room and that i was super late to go meet ben. shoot. then i though 'oh goodness where the heck is whitney?' i get up grab my things and run up to my room, only to realize i have no key?? i bang on my door for about ten minutes (serious banging/loud pounding). no one responds. i go back to max's and try wrap my head around where whit is. he tells me to try dan's. so i go there. no answer. go back upstairs to mine and bang a bit more. no one, no where. i go to the lobby finally and tell them im locked out and they let me in. and there is whit in my bed asleep with my key. so now for what lead to this last night:

whit and dan come to kings cross.

take back the streets is peddling through. hundreds of people on bikes with loud music. it was intense.

we get some booze. drink in my room. little smash decides to join us.

ashley talks to someone she works with about going out in oxford circus.

we make moves to venture out there and hang out.

kate is gonna meet up with us.

ashley, dan, whit and i head to the tube.

we get off at the street we hear the place we are going to is.

dan goes to get katie

we cant find the place.

and katie and dan are trying to find us.

it was dysfunctional.

so after a lot of walking around and realizing that the pubs are closing.
we meet up with the littlest man ever, ashleys friend from work.

long hope seems like the right choice.

we hop on the tube. and head straight to long hope.

the sign on the door says 'strictly 25 and over'

we go in anyway.

kate needed shots.

after about three shots of jameson and a few phone calls long hope is hoppin.

dance parties and all.

i wake up in the morning...thinking im in china...to ben calling and yelling at me bc im late to his.

i have no clue where whitney is or my room key.

the end of one story and the beginning of another great day...

trannies and roofies

saw a transvestite yelling at some guys at a local pub. fishnets, high heels (broken, to add), mini skirt, wig and all. screaming and swing her purse like she was gonna hit them saying 'im a woman! you dont hit a woman!' we all couldnt look away.
then someone got roofied at a club and we had a very eventful/late evening dealing with things from the club and happenings that just kept on happening.

ps. this was all happened on a monday night, one i took it easy for.

"who gets roofied on a monday night??" - dan, looking back in retrospect.

what a way to start off the week.

ohhh london.
